The Role

As a Workshop Fitter at the Tamworth Depot, you’ll carry out essential maintenance and turnaround work on a fleet of Telescopic Handlers, ensuring every machine is safe, reliable, and ready for hire.

  • Pre‑Delivery Inspections
  • LOLER safety inspections
  • Scheduled servicing
  • General repairs & damage assessments

You’ll play a key role in keeping the depot running smoothly — fast turnarounds, accurate diagnostics, and quality workmanship.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience with plant machinery & diesel engines
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving ability
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • CSCS card advantageous
