I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company for a Senior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer. This is a key position within the business, ideal for an experienced engineer looking to step into a more senior role with added responsibility, influence, and long-term progression.
The Role
- You'll be the go-to engineer on site-handling complex faults, supporting junior engineers, and ensuring high standards across service and maintenance work.
- Service, maintenance & fault finding on commercial refrigeration & AC systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- Assist with commissioning and system optimisation
- Work independently across customer sites
- Participate in a 1-in-7 call-out rota
- Use Simpro system for job management and reporting
What They’re Looking For
- F-Gas Category 1
- Strong background in commercial refrigeration & air conditioning
- Proven experience handling complex faults and large systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to lead by example and support junior engineers
- Based in or around Hampshire
- Desirable (Not Essential)
- CO2 experience
- Commissioning experience
- Experience with Dixell XWeb / monitoring systems
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience
