Location: Kent
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Solar PV Electrician to join a leading client of ours within the renewable energy sector. You will need to be based local to the Kent area to be considered, and the opportunity is to join our client on a full time and fully employed basis.
Job Summary
- Responsible for the installation of Solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Carry out inspection, testing and commissioning of new PV systems, including completing relevant certification (MCS, DNO etc).
- Diagnose and repair faults on existing PV systems, including inverter replacements and monitoring issues.
- Work together with roofing teams and other trades to deliver efficient installations.
- Working mainly across domestic, new build properties, and commercial.
Key Skills Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- AM2, Gold Card etc.
- Testing experience - City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent is preferred
- Desired - Solar PV / Battery Storage or Renewables experience
- UK driving licence
