The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of a well-established client operating across London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business with a consistent workload and long-term contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration systems
  • Fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Working on commercial refrigeration equipment including:
    • Cold rooms
    • Pack systems
    • Display cabinets
    • Fridges & freezers
  • Completing job reports and service documentation
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
  • F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
  • Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and represent the client professionally on site
