The predicted salary is between 32000 - 38000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security business covering the North East of England. This is a field-based role, ideally suited to an engineer who is confident working independently across servicing, maintenance, fault finding and small works on a range of fire alarm systems within commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on fire alarm systems
- Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Small works, repairs and system adjustments where required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current standards and regulations
- Completing accurate service documentation and reports
- Providing a high level of customer service while on site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of a range of fire alarm systems (multiple manufacturers desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance standards
