Are you currently installing TV, satellite or broadband systems and looking for a route into the smart home and AV industry? The Role

  • Installation and servicing of TV and satellite systems
  • Residential AV and home entertainment installations
  • First and second fix cabling within high-end residential properties
  • TV mounting, audio setup and cable management
  • Router setup, WiFi configuration and basic networking support
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on site
  • Assisting with smart home installations including Control4 and Lutron systems
  • Using laptops for testing, updates and basic system configuration

You will not be expected to programme smart home systems from day one. Full support and training will be provided as your knowledge develops.

What They're Looking For

  • Experience within TV, satellite, broadband, telecoms or field service engineering
  • Comfortable working within customer facing residential environments
  • Understanding of cabling, signal distribution or basic networking
  • Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work
  • Enthusiasm to learn smart home and AV technologies
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
