Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with an established and leading provider of Swimming Pool engineering services and who are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Engineer to join their team on a full-time and fully employed basis.
We are looking for someone to work as a mobile/field-based engineer and who lives in the Northern England region - flexible to exact location but ideally with good motorway access. Therefore, open to people who live either in the North West, Yorkshire, or North East regions.
Salary and Package:
- £38k-£42k Basic Salary (negotiable)
- 40 hour week as standard - Monday to Friday
- Company Van and tools
- Daily meal allowance + accommodation if working away
- Overtime opportunities and rates

Job Role:
- Responsible for mainly servicing and maintaining commercial swimming pools - schools, leisure centres, hospitals etc.
- Installing pool plant equipment and PVC pipework, Fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Service and install chemical dosing systems, UV systems, filtration, circulation, and heating systems.
- Conduct pool water testing and chemical balancing.
Skills Required:
- Ideally seeking someone with previous experience as a Swimming Pool Engineer or Pool Plant Engineer
- Alternatively we would consider someone with relevant field service experience, or with pump and filtration systems, water treatment, plumbing etc.
- City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Diploma in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical engineering
- Clean UK driving licence
