Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a local and well-established heating contractor on an employed, full-time and PAYE basis. Our client offers both domestic and commercial heating services and are Gas Safe and OFTEC registered.

This opportunity also offers growth and development, with the opportunity to progress into commercial gas at a later date. Working as a mobile gas engineer, you'll be responsible for working locally to Ipswich and Suffolk, areas will include roughly a 15-20 mile radius therefore places such as Ipswich, Colchester, Sudbury, Hadleigh etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installation, service, maintenance and breakdown works on domestic gas, heating and boiler systems.
  • Be part of an on-call rota system of 1 in 8.

Package includes Company Van, Holiday Pay, Pension etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a domestic gas engineer.
  • Hold relevant ACS Domestic Gas tickets.
  • Extensive domestic gas/heating engineer background across installation, service and breakdown works.
  • OFTEC or oil boiler experience is preferred, however isn’t essential.
  • Training and development provided.
  • Full UK driving licence.
