A growing, family run smart home specialist is looking for a Junior Smart Home Installer to join their team. This is a hands-on role working on high-end residential projects, ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build a long-term future in the smart home and AV industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers who will train and develop you into a fully skilled installer.
The Role
- You will support senior engineers on site across a range of smart home installations, including:
- First and second fix cabling
- Assisting with Control4 and Lutron systems
- TV and audio installation including wall mounting and cable management
- Rack building, wiring and labelling
- WiFi and home networking setup
- Supporting on fault finding and service visits
As your experience grows, you will take on more responsibility and begin to work more independently.
About You
- This role is open to a range of backgrounds, including AV, Security, Electrical or Data Cabling.
- Some hands-on experience in AV, electrical or cabling work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
