A growing, family run smart home specialist is looking for a Junior Smart Home Installer to join their team. This is a hands-on role working on high-end residential projects, ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build a long-term future in the smart home and AV industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers who will train and develop you into a fully skilled installer.

The Role

  • You will support senior engineers on site across a range of smart home installations, including:
    • First and second fix cabling
    • Assisting with Control4 and Lutron systems
    • TV and audio installation including wall mounting and cable management
    • Rack building, wiring and labelling
    • WiFi and home networking setup
    • Supporting on fault finding and service visits

As your experience grows, you will take on more responsibility and begin to work more independently.

About You

  • This role is open to a range of backgrounds, including AV, Security, Electrical or Data Cabling.
  • Some hands-on experience in AV, electrical or cabling work
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Positive attitude and team mindset
  • Basic understanding of tools and installations
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
