- Waste‑fleet engineering — support refuse vehicles, hydraulics, bin lifts and heavy plant systems
- Job allocation & workflow control — prioritise urgent work, plan ahead and keep vehicles available for next‑day routes
- Diagnostics & fault support — assist technicians with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
- Quality, compliance & safety — enforce workshop standards and ensure every vehicle leaves the bay safe
- Parts & stock coordination — identify parts, manage inventory and keep repairs moving
- End‑of‑shift reporting — update job cards, record work completed and hand over cleanly to the next day’s team
