The Role
As an AV Installation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning high-quality AV systems at client sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects to a high standard, ensuring every installation looks sharp, performs flawlessly, and leaves the client impressed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing a wide range of AV solutions including projectors, LED & LCD displays, screens, speakers, microphones, VC systems, control systems, and digital signage
- Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and system designs
- Ensuring all installations meet industry standards, health & safety, and best-practice guidelines
- Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time
- Maintaining company tools, PPE, and vehicles to a professional standard
- Representing the business professionally on client sites
- Taking part in ongoing training and development to stay ahead of the curve
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in AV installation (commercial environments preferred)
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow and installation best practices
- Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
