We currently have an excellent opportunity for experienced and senior level Commercial Heating / Gas Engineer to join a well-established client of ours who specialise in the commercial heating, mechanical services and technical engineering sector. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Gas Engineer / Site Manager to join their team and with the role being split across both aspects. The role is based in the South Wales region, therefore you will need to live somewhere in the South Wales area.

Role Overview

  • Carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on commercial gas boilers, heating systems, pipework and associated controls.
  • Leadership duties – acting as a lead engineer on site, supervising engineers, apprentices and managing day to day workload.
  • Lead site meetings and liaise with clients.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
  • ACS qualifications such as CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on commercial plant
  • Ideally experience in a supervisory or management type position
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification would be preferred – however training can be provided
  • Project Management experience beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence
