The Role: As a Senior Installation Engineer, you will take a hands-on leadership role within the wider installation team, ensuring successful project delivery on-site. You'll be responsible for leading installations from planning through to completion, liaising with project managers, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Projects are varied and span multiple sectors - including commercial, education, retail, and corporate - so adaptability and professionalism are key. This role will require travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site AV and display installations, working closely with internal teams and clients
- Interpret technical drawings, project briefs, and scope of works
- Act as site lead/project lead, managing timelines and ensuring high-quality installations
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure expectations are met
- Carry out system testing and basic commissioning
- Maintain health and safety standards on-site
About You:
- 3 years' experience in AV/display installation
- Proven experience as a site lead or project lead on installation projects
- Confident with mounting display systems, running cables, and configuring AV hardware
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays
