The predicted salary is between 36000 - 48000 £ per year.

Salary: £20 per hour, dependent on experience. OTE £60,000

Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime available midweek and at weekends.

Overview: Our client, a well-established agricultural dealership, is seeking an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern agricultural machinery, supported by ongoing manufacturer training and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural machinery both on-site and at the depot.
  • Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across a wide range of farm equipment.
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) in line with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Promote the dealership's products and services when working directly with customers.
  • Attend manufacturer and internal training courses to maintain technical knowledge.
  • Accurately complete job reports, timesheets, and labour hours using an iPhone-based system.
  • Utilise laptop-based diagnostic and service software.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar Agricultural Technician or Service Engineer role.
  • Strong experience working on agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, sprayers, balers, and associated equipment.
  • Experience with AGCO products would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using diagnostic systems and mobile technology.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
