Alecto Recruitment Ltd has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer to join a leading and well-established client in the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services sector. The role is best suited for someone based locally in Essex, Brentwood, Billericay or the surrounding M25 area.

Job Role

  • Perform mobile commercial gas engineering duties, including PPM (planned preventative maintenance), servicing, repairs and fault-finding on commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on boilers, burners, HVAC plant, heating controls, pumps, pipework and related mechanical equipment.
  • Work with a range of clients and contracts, such as schools, colleges, healthcare facilities, offices and industrial units.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Valid commercial gas certificates such as COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems, boilers, plant rooms, ventilation and mechanical systems.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Commutable to Essex and Brentwood areas.
