We're recruiting for an experienced Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join a growing and highly respected business delivering high-end Audio Visual, Digital Signage, LED Display and integrated technology projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV professional who enjoys leading projects on-site, working with modern technology, and taking ownership of quality installations for major automotive and retail brands nationwide. As Audio Visual Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering installations from first fix through to commissioning, whilst overseeing site teams and subcontractors.
Projects include:
- Digital signage systems
- LED / LCD display installations
- Video walls
- Video conferencing systems
- Audio systems
- Network-connected AV solutions
You'll be client-facing, trusted to lead projects professionally, and ensure all works are completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission commercial AV systems nationwide
- Lead engineers and subcontractors on-site
- First fix, second fix and cable infrastructure works
- Rack building, equipment mounting and system setup
- Configure displays, audio and control systems
- Carry out site surveys where required
- Basic networking and AV fault finding
- Ensure H&S compliance and quality standards on-site
- Provide service and reactive support when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' AV installation experience
- Previous experience leading projects or supervising engineers
- Strong knowledge of commercial AV systems
- Experience with displays, audio, VC and control systems
- Good understanding of networking within AV environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally and stay away when required
- ECS / CSCS Card
- IPAF / PASMA
Overtime opportunities available. All travel expenses covered. 22 days holiday +.
