Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Gates & Barriers Engineers based in Birmingham and the surrounding areas who are looking for a local position with a well-established company that genuinely invests in its engineers.
You’ll be working across commercial and residential sites throughout the local area, installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of automated gates, barriers and access control systems. What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing, servicing and maintaining automatic gates and barrier systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Working on a variety of access control systems
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensuring all work complies with current safety regulations and industry standards
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with the engineering team to deliver projects efficiently
- Participating in the on-call rota to support customers when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing and servicing automatic gates and barrier systems
- Experience with access control systems is highly desirable
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A professional, customer-focused approach with pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
