We’re working with an award-winning AV organisation that’s expanding its highly regarded Service Team and looking for a talented AV Field Service Engineer to support some of the most advanced commercial AV installations across London and the surrounding areas.

Your Mission

As an AV Field Service Engineer, you’ll be the trusted technical expert clients turn to when they need fast, effective solutions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimising a wide range of commercial AV and IT systems, ensuring customers receive an exceptional service experience every time.

You’ll Be:

  • Diagnosing and repairing AV and IT system faults on client sites
  • Conducting preventative maintenance visits and system health checks
  • Supporting clients remotely and on-site with technical issues
  • Testing, commissioning, and handing over serviced systems
  • Working with advanced AV technologies including displays, audio systems, control systems, switching equipment and signal distribution platforms
  • Collaborating with project, service and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Supervising specialist subcontractors when required

Are You the Engineer We’re Looking For?

  • Strong commercial AV service and troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of projection systems, flat panels, DSPs, AV matrices and signal transmission technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Crestron NVX
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Experience using networking diagnostic tools such as Wireshark or Packet Tracer
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Confident fault-finding and use of hand tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence

You’ll Stand Out If You Have:

  • Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCITP or equivalent certifications
  • AMX, Extron or Crestron programming experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server environments
  • Experience with streaming platforms and digital signage solutions
  • IPAF and PASMA licences
  • Audio systems experience (balanced and unbalanced)
  • LCD, DLP and Large Format Displays
  • Crestron control systems and AV switching/matrix solutions
  • HDBaseT and CatX signal extension technologies
  • AVoIP and Dante networking
  • General networking and IT troubleshooting skills
