Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
- Overtime available
- Monday-Friday working hours (7:00am-5:00pm)
- Occasional Saturday mornings (7:00am-12:00pm)
- 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a fleet of heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults.
- Service and maintain HGVs, material handlers, excavators, loading shovels, crushers, trommels and screening equipment.
- Complete breakdown repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and service documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on heavy plant, construction plant, quarry equipment, recycling machinery or agricultural equipment.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
- Basic electrical diagnostic knowledge (12v/24v systems desirable).
- Ability to work independently and within a busy engineering team.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (desirable).
