This role is based on-site in the UAE and will require relocation. ALEC will be holding interviews in the UK & Ireland week commencing 30th June 2025.

About Your Team

You’ll report to the Head of Commissioning and collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client teams. Leading Commissioning Engineers and Foremen, your team ensures that every system is ready for operational excellence.

Your Role

As a Commissioning Manager, you will:

• Define and implement commissioning strategies and milestones for assigned projects.
• Align commissioning activities with design, construction, and programme schedules.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with all project stakeholders.
• Establish inspection and test plans, pre-functional checklists, and system readiness criteria.
• Track progress via dashboards and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure safe commissioning practices and enforce HSE protocols.
• Compile and hand over commissioning dossiers, test reports, and performance certificates.
• Submit progress reports and ensure all deliverables meet contractual and statutory standards.

This is a full-time role requiring site visits and close collaboration with multiple teams.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in MEP testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of regional codes, commissioning standards, and QA/QC processes.

Knowledge

• Expertise in integrated commissioning programmes (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Familiarity with sustainable-building practices and LEED/BREEAM commissioning.

Skills

• Advanced problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and BIM 360/Navisworks (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
