- InfrastructureLondon | Construction ConsultancyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction consultancy in London, working on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
This role offers the chance to be involved in major projects across sectors such as rail, aviation, highways, utilities, and other complex infrastructure schemes.
You'll join a collaborative and growing team, delivering commercial and cost management services to high-profile clients from project inception through to completion. The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of large-scale infrastructure projects, providing cost advice and contract administration support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and financial reportsManaging project budgets and monitoring expenditureAdministering contracts and managing change control processesAssessing and valuing variations, compensation events, and contractor applicationsSupporting procurement and tendering activitiesProducing valuations and final accountsBuilding strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholdersSupporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projectsAbout YouDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineExperience working on infrastructure projects such as rail, aviation, highways, utilities, or major civil engineering schemesStrong working knowledge of NEC contracts is essentialExperience administering NEC contracts and managing commercial processes within an infrastructure environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProactive, commercially aware, and motivated to progress your career within consultancyWhat's on OfferOpportunity to work on nationally significant infrastructure projectsClear career progression within a highly respected consultancyCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive and collaborative team environmentOngoing professional development and chartership support where requiredFor a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Andreea Hudson at Aldwych Consulting.
