Our client is a respected independent transport and infrastructure planning consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work across the UK and internationally. They work on diverse and high-profile projects for both public and private sector clients, including local authorities, major developments, and strategic infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the delivery of transport development planning projects, including:
- Large new residential schemes
- Office, retail, and leisure projects
- Town centre regeneration
- Active travel and sustainable transport projects
- Preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and delivery/service plans
- Conducting swept path analyses and supporting planning applications
- Producing strategies and technical reports
- Performing traffic modelling using software such as Arcady, Picady and Linsig.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-4 years of experience in transport planning, ideally within development planning
- A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Geography, Civil Engineering, Transport Planning)
- Experience using AutoCAD and related Autodesk software
