We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager with strong buildings delivery experience, including structural, building envelope, and MEP coordination, to support the delivery of complex projects from design through construction and handover. The role will focus on managing the technical and delivery interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, façade, and MEP scopes, ensuring works are fully coordinated, buildable, and delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of building projects, from early design coordination through construction, commissioning, and close-out.
  • Oversee civil and structural works including enabling works, foundations, substructure, superstructure, and temporary works.
  • Manage and coordinate building envelope packages such as façades, cladding, glazing, roofing, and waterproofing systems.
  • Lead coordination of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and ELV), ensuring effective integration with structure, façade, ceilings, and finishes.
  • Manage builder's works associated with MEP, including cast-ins, openings, supports, and interface requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and constructability issues.
  • Review and manage design deliverables, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Monitor site progress, sequencing, quality, and HSE performance in line with project requirements.
  • Manage programme, cost, risk, and change control, including variations and reporting.
  • Lead inspections, testing, commissioning coordination, snagging, and handover activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering building projects with significant envelope and MEP content.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interface management.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Good knowledge of common forms of contract (e.g. FIDIC, NEC, JCT).

Desirable

  • Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership.
  • Experience on high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, residential, or complex buildings.
  • BIM coordination and digital delivery experience.
