You\’ll be joining a highly collaborative and growing team working on urban and public realm projects across London and the wider UK – from concept through to detailed design. The Role As a Senior Highways Engineer, you\’ll take a leading role in the design and coordination of urban highway and public realm schemes, including S278 works and transport infrastructure projects. You\’ll apply your design expertise, mentor junior engineers, and help deliver high-quality, practical, and sustainable solutions. Essential Skills & Experience Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Strong experience in highways or transport infrastructure design. Working towards or already Chartered/ Incorporated (ICE, CIHT or similar). Proficient in AutoCAD for highways design (Civil 3D experience desirable). Knowledge of S278 schemes, urban streetscape, and public realm design. Understanding of surface and sub-surface drainage principles. Ability to lead, review, and approve design work to relevant standards and codes. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
