We are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our client's infrastructure team in Bristol. You will work on various exciting developments, primarily focusing on residential schemes. The company is medium-sized, with 6 regional offices.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of infrastructure projects, from feasibility to construction, handling projects from around 50 units to several thousand dwellings.

  • Manage projects and lead the design of multiple schemes for various clients
  • Mentor and support junior team members, delegate tasks, and ensure high-quality work within deadlines
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders, prepare fee proposals, manage projects, and support business development
  • Develop drainage strategies and earthwork assessments
  • Create planning documents such as FRAs, drainage notes, and utilities
  • Conduct Due Diligence reviews for land acquisition

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have significant post-graduate experience, with a background in pre-planning and planning stages, as well as detailed design and technical approvals (e.g., s104, s38, s278).

Proficiency in Microdrainage and AutoCAD is required, along with an understanding of Civil 3D.
