We are working in partnership with a leading, fast-growing consultancy as they continue to expand their Building Surveying team. With a strong national presence and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to join a construction consultancy firm at a key stage of their development.

The Role

  • They are looking for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join an established and growing London team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients across the Southern region.
  • This role offers a balanced workload across both project and professional services:
    • Delivering a wide range of project work, including refurbishments, fit-outs, and capital works programmes.
    • Undertaking professional instructions such as condition surveys, technical due diligence, and general advisory services.
    • Working across a diverse range of sectors, including retail, commercial, healthcare, heritage and more, supporting a broad client base.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

  • Lead and deliver building surveying projects from inception through to completion.
  • Undertake condition surveys, defect analysis, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Manage refurbishment and fit-out schemes, including contract administration duties.
  • Provide professional advice to clients on building-related matters.
  • Support with technical due diligence and asset management instructions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to business development activities and identify new opportunities.
