I'm working on behalf of a well-established construction consultancy that's actively looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background in rail and/or infrastructure projects.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for managing infrastructure or rail projects from start to finish - coordinating stakeholders, keeping delivery on track, and ensuring client expectations are exceeded. You'll operate in a consultancy environment where communication, attention to detail, and proactive project control are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading full project lifecycles, from feasibility through to handover
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Managing risk, programme, budget, and quality across multiple workstreams
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants
  • Delivering regular reports to senior stakeholders

What I'm Looking For:

  • Solid experience as a Project Manager within rail and/or infrastructure
  • Background in a consultancy environment is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or similar contract forms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus
