Are you an experienced Project Controls Manager? Are you considering a new challenge in the New Year? We're representing a client working on an interesting and challenging project who is looking to add to their existing team a project controls manager. This role is paying a competive market based salary based upon the candidates prior experience and has an excellent accompanying package. The company has a positive culture, looks after their people, is stronlgy evovled in their development and training, seeing this as a positive for both them and the company and thus has low levels of staff turnover, with many having long careers with the business. As the Project Controls Manager you will take control and responsibility for reporting of the projects financial performance, by challenging and supporting project management in operational decision making, ensuring compliance with the organisations Risk & internal Control Framework. You will establish and maintain effective tools and systems to support and challenge project delivery & financial reporting, working closely with the Projects Leadership Team You will act as Financial business partner to the Project Director by providing financial insight and challenges to Project Management on financial strategy. Work closely with the construction management and commercial team, in cost estimating, programming, risk management, resource forecasting and change management. You will be jointly responsible for the Cash Flow and Financial position of the project in accordance with contractual agreements and variations, taking appropriate actions where necessary. The ideal candidate will have an Understanding of scheduling/programming, cost forecasting, dashboards and senior level reporting Ideally practical experience of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts experience of change management Experience of large complex construction projects If this seems like something that would be of interest to you, and you'd lile to know more – then apply with a copy of your CV ASAP.
