An award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer to join its growing Sheffield team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware professional to lead complex site investigation and contaminated land projects while playing a key role in the continued growth of the geo-environmental and geotechnical team. The role offers a genuine pathway toward Technical Director / Director level within a supportive and well-established consultancy environment.
The Role
You’ll lead and manage a broad range of geo-environmental and contaminated land projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and regeneration. The role will involve overseeing site investigations and remediation works, preparing and reviewing technical reports and risk assessments, managing project delivery and mentoring junior engineers within the team. You’ll work closely with senior leadership while also supporting business development, client relationships and project growth across the wider Yorkshire region and beyond.
