Graduate Quantity Surveyor Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career in commercial management within the construction and civil engineering sector? We're working with a well-established specialist contractor who is looking to bring a Graduate Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience across live projects, working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers while developing their commercial and contractual knowledge. The role will involve: Supporting Quantity Surveyors with the commercial management of projects Assisting with valuations, applications and payment processes Supporting cost reporting and forecasting Assisting with subcontractor management and procurement Working with project teams to monitor costs and financial performance Supporting variations, compensation events and commercial correspondence Developing an understanding of NEC and other forms of contract Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teamsWe're looking for: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related subject Strong interest in pursuing a career within construction/commercial management Good communication and organisational skills Commercially minded with strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and develop within a project environmentThis is a great opportunity for a graduate who wants genuine exposure to live construction projects and a clear route to progress their career within a specialist contractor.
