An established consultancy is continuing to expand its Manchester presence and is looking for a Principal or Associate Engineer who wants to step into a role with real influence. This is a great chance to join a new and ambitious team where you'll be able to make your mark from day one. You'll work across a wide mix of projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, support and mentor others, and play a key part in shaping the future of the Manchester office. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and the opportunity to help build something, this role will suit you well.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking technical responsibility for drawings, calculations, reports and design documents - both your own and those produced by others.
  • Confident use of Civil 3D, CAD and other design/analysis tools, and supporting colleagues as they develop these skills.
  • Solving technical challenges and delivering practical, well-considered engineering solutions.
  • Applying current design standards and a clear understanding of CDM (2015) duties.
  • Helping refine internal processes to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.
  • Identifying and managing risks on your projects.
