Electrical Project ManagerCommercial Fit Out | London & Home Counties60,000-75,000 PAYE/ Similar day rate (+ benefits) | PermanentWe're working with an established specialist electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties, who are looking to add a hands-on Electrical Project Manager to their team.This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager who enjoys being close to the detail - managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating with clients, main contractors, consultants and site teams to make sure everything is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.The RoleYou'll take ownership of electrical installation packages across commercial fit-out projects, acting as the key link between the office, site and wider project team.You'll be involved in:Managing electrical projects from pre-start through to practical completion and handoverPlanning and programming electrical works around the main contractor's programmeCoordinating with clients, architects, M&E consultants, main contractors and other tradesManaging site labour, subcontractors and material procurementMonitoring project costs, variations and change ordersCarrying out regular site inspections and quality checksEnsuring works comply with BS 7671, Building Regulations and H&S requirementsAttending site and progress meetings, providing clear project updatesManaging project risks and resolving issues as they ariseOverseeing O&M manuals, test certificates and final handover documentationAbout YouWe're looking for someone with a strong electrical background and commercial fit-out experience who is comfortable taking responsibility for projects and getting involved on site.You'll ideally have:Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Contracts ManagerCommercial fit-out experienceA strong understanding of electrical installation and project deliveryExperience managing labour, subcontractors and suppliersGood commercial and organisational awarenessStrong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients and contractorsA practical, hands-on approach rather than someone who wants to manage purely from the officeWhat's on Offer?60,000-70,000 salary, depending on experienceProfit-sharing opportunityFree/on-site parkingVaried commercial fit-out projects across London & the Home CountiesOpportunity to join an established specialist contractor with genuine responsibility and ownershipIf you're an Electrical Project Manager looking for a role where you can take ownership of projects and make a real impact, we'd be keen to hear from you.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
