The Role
As a Highways Engineer, you'll contribute to the design and coordination of urban highway and public realm schemes, including S278 works and wider transport infrastructure projects. You'll apply your technical knowledge, work closely with senior colleagues, and help deliver high-quality, practical, and sustainable solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in highways or transport infrastructure design
- Working towards professional accreditation (ICE, CIHT or similar)
- Proficient in AutoCAD for highways design (Civil 3D experience desirable)
- Knowledge of S278 schemes, urban streetscape, and public realm design
- Understanding of surface and sub-surface drainage principles
- Ability to produce accurate, well-coordinated design work to relevant standards
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
