Graduate Quantity Surveyor London | £28,000-£30,000 | Permanent | Office-Based The Opportunity We are currently working with a well-established London-based consultancy who are looking to appoint a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate looking to take their first step into a professional consultancy environment, gain valuable industry experience and develop their career alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors. The successful candidate will receive hands-on exposure to a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in both quantity surveying and cost consultancy. The Role As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will support the wider quantity surveying team across a range of projects, assisting with both pre- and post-contract duties. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting Senior and Project Quantity Surveyors across live projects Assisting with cost planning, estimating and budgeting Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities and tender documentation Assisting with tender analysis and procurement activities Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations and final accounts Assisting with cost reporting and financial tracking Attending project and client meetings where appropriate Liaising with contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders Developing your understanding of commercial and contractual processes Working towards your professional development and long-term career progression About You We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious graduate who is keen to establish a career within quantity surveying and consultancy. You will ideally have: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline A genuine interest in pursuing a career within the construction and property sector Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Good attention to detail A proactive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work effectively as part of a team A full UK driving licence Full UK right to work - sponsorship is not available for this position Previous industry experience or a placement year would be advantageous but is not essential.
