A dynamic and creative design consultancy based in Surbiton requires a Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team. Ideally, you will have buildings, substations, and bridges design experience as well as other structures. The firm works on a variety of civil/structural infrastructure projects including substation design for UK Power Networks and projects in the rail sector.

The firm is a 40 strong financially robust practice with major top name clients. You would have the chance to make a real impact on how this business grows going forwards. They are a very social and friendly group at the office.

Responsibilities:
  • Design of large new footbridges over railways at stations, rail bridges, lineside services and structures, platform extensions, station refurbishments.
  • Substation design, HV cable route design, renewables schemes, embankment and cutting works, depot buildings and structures.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in both steel and concrete design.
  • Experience with buildings, substations, bridges and other structures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to attend meetings, site and deal with clients.
  • Good team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
