We are seeking an Associate Transport Planner to join our client's busy and dynamic team. This role can be based in Essex, Ipswich, London, Kent, or Bristol, offering flexibility while working on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, and retail developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the technical delivery of transportation projects, including managing project teams and budgets
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development activities, including preparing bids and proposals
  • Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CIHT, CILT)
  • Strong technical background in development planning
  • Proven project and client delivery experience
  • Track record of successful budget management
  • Sound knowledge of relevant technical standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary & Benefits

  • £60,000 - £67,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 25 days' annual leave plus public holidays, increasing to 26 days after two years' service
  • Paid overtime above contracted hours
