Our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a vibrant London studio, is seeking a Geotechnical Associate to join their collaborative and sustainability-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects, nurture a team, and contribute to a practice that values creativity, individual initiative, and disciplined teamwork.
The Role:
- Lead project teams and manage multiple projects across residential and commercial sectors
- Provide technical leadership in geotechnical design and problem-solving
- Prepare high-quality reports and provide foundation recommendations
- Represent the team with clients, stakeholders, and project partners
- Mentor and develop junior engineers
What They’re Looking For:
- 8+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline
- Chartered with ICE, GSL, or IOM3
- Strong understanding of ground engineering principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to lead by example and manage technical teams
- Self-motivated with initiative and commercial awareness
