Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Site Agent to join their delivery team on a long-term infrastructure project. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering complex and rewarding works, while progressing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As Site Agent, you will take full responsibility for managing a section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be empowered to lead from the front, driving a 'right first time' culture while contributing to the long-term success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of planning, programming, and delivery of your section of works
- Produce and monitor construction programmes and progress reports
- Manage cost plans and oversee contractual elements of the project
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to ensure smooth delivery
- Work closely with commercial teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Lead on health, safety, environment, and quality compliance
- Review and approve RAMS, ITPs, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Works Managers to meet key milestones
- Ensure efficient and high-quality handover of completed works
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Site Agent, Senior Engineer, or similar role within civil engineering/infrastructure
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive mindset
- SMSTS & CSCS certification
- Full UK driving licence
