A leading UK infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its established pre-construction team based in Barnsley.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business delivering a diverse portfolio of rail and civil engineering projects across the UK. You'll work alongside an experienced estimating team, preparing competitive tenders and playing a key role in securing major infrastructure schemes.
The Role
As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of rail and civil engineering projects. Working closely with operational, commercial and design teams, you'll help develop winning tender submissions while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of estimating principles and tendering processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of an experienced pre-construction team.
