A Principal Structural Engineer is required to join the building structures team of this major multi-disciplinary practice, working from either their Basingstoke or Southampton office. They work on some of the world's most complex projects and are a trusted partner to many within the construction industry. The work includes a mixture of sectors including schools, defence projects, transport and infrastructure schemes, historic works, change-of-use and new builds.
Your role will include:
- Taking responsibility for projects
- Hands-on design
- Managing more junior staff
- Engaging with clients to ensure effective and smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- Strong background in buildings structural design
- Articulate, technically strong and a Chartered MICE or MIStructE
- Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer, LUSAS or similar would be useful
Excellent benefits in line with working for a global corporation will be provided in addition to base salary.
