I'm currently working with an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are looking to add a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team on a major project in Immingham. The role would suit a QS with solid civils/infrastructure experience who is comfortable working within a project environment and managing their own commercial responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Commercial management and cost control
- Monthly reporting and forecasting
- Subcontractor management
- Procurement and valuations
- Applications and payment assessments
- Managing variations and change
- Final accounts
- Commercial risk and opportunity
Looking for:
- Experience working as a QS within civils/infrastructure
- NEC experience
- Strong commercial understanding
