A major infrastructure engineering business is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineer to join its growing energy infrastructure team in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery of nationally significant energy projects, working on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), substations and wider grid infrastructure developments that are helping support the UK's transition towards a more resilient and sustainable energy network.
The team is continuing to expand and is looking to bring in experienced engineers who can contribute technically while helping support the growth and development of the wider design function.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for major energy infrastructure projects across the UK, taking schemes from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support. Projects typically involve large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), substations and associated energy infrastructure, where you’ll be responsible for the design of drainage systems, earthworks, site levels, access roads and wider civil engineering infrastructure.
