Role Overview

Reporting to a Senior Consultant, Associate, or Partner, you will work on a variety of projects and gain experience in:

  • Reviewing technical and non-technical reports to extract key information for clients
  • Researching and compiling data for assessments
  • Preparing EIA Screening and Scoping Requests, ES chapters, and Non-technical Summaries
  • Developing Construction Environmental Management Plans, Waste Management Plans, and Sustainability Statements
  • Enhancing project management skills, including coordinating internal resources and sub-consultants
  • Managing budgets and financial aspects of projects
  • Implementing and promoting the company's Quality Management System
  • Supporting senior staff with bids and tenders
  • Gaining independence in tasks with reduced supervision
  • Developing communication and professional report writing skills
  • Exploring career progression paths within the company
  • Learning new skills such as GIS or CAD software for creating basic plans and drawings
  • Staying up to date with legislation and best practices, sharing knowledge with the wider team
  • Maintaining professional memberships (IEMA, IES, CIWEM) and actively working towards chartership
