The Role
We are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to take a leading technical role within the business.
This is an opportunity for a senior engineer who is confident taking ownership of projects, managing client relationships and providing technical direction to the wider team.
You will be involved in:
Leading the electrical design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
Taking overall technical responsibility for electrical engineering elements of projects.
Managing and coordinating electrical design teams and working closely with other disciplines.
Developing and reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to intermediate and junior engineers.
Liaising directly with clients, contractors, architects and other project stakeholders.
Attending design meetings, site visits and project reviews.
Reviewing designs to ensure they meet relevant standards, regulations and client requirements.
Supporting project planning, resourcing and delivery.
Contributing to the continued development of the electrical engineering team and wider business.
Identifying opportunities to improve technical standards, processes and project delivery.
