The business provides mechanical, electrical and public health engineering services, with a focus on practical design, energy efficiency and sustainable engineering solutions. The team works closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants to deliver projects from initial design through to construction. The company has a strong track record of staff retention , with many members of the team having built long-term careers within the business. The current Managing Director is a great example of this, having originally joined the company as an engineer before progressing into senior leadership. The Role We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to take responsibility across a varied portfolio of building services projects, working closely with clients, contractors and other members of the design team. Depending on your level of experience, you will be involved in: Leading and delivering electrical building services designs from concept through to completion. Producing and reviewing electrical calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Working across systems including lighting, small power, fire alarms, emergency power and other electrical services. Carrying out site surveys, inspections and attending project meetings. Coordinating electrical designs with mechanical, public health, architectural and structural disciplines. Liaising directly with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders. Providing technical support and guidance to more junior members of the team. Reviewing designs and ensuring projects are delivered to the required technical and quality standards.
