We're looking for a Director of Infrastructure Design to join this multidisciplinary design consultancy!

Company: They are a leading development partner, acting as a one stop shop for multidisciplinary consulting advice on land development projects, from planning and through design engineering and construction support.

With several UK offices and circa 500 staff you will be joining a well established consultancy with an excellent industry reputation.

Role: An Infrastructure Director is sought to establish regional directorship for the Transport & Infrastructure business unit, to support and be supported by the already established teams in other offices around the UK.

This person will be responsible for supporting the continued growth of a wide-ranging portfolio of clients in all sectors in the appropriate geographical region.

This is an exciting opportunity to share in their journey and help to deliver an exceptional service that creates sustainable and successful development as they seek to roll out their Transport and Infrastructure services nationwide.

Requirements:

  • Ideally Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body, ideally ICE, and minimum 10-15 years' post-graduate experience.
  • Proven work winning ability and commercially astute, identifying new opportunities and following these up with positive actions to secure new business.
  • Consultancy/private sector development background
  • A thorough knowledge delivering civil engineering infrastructure for both private and adoptable works for planning, tender and construction purposes.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the legal, planning, technical consent, and adoption process and contract procedures for the design and implementation of highway and drainage infrastructure in new developments and regeneration projects.
  • Proven ability contributing towards business development strategies e.g., growth plans, process improvement.
  • Excellent working knowledge applying the principles, design codes and standards set out Manual for Streets, Local Authority Design guides, the SuDS Manual, DCG, etc.
  • Personable and a strong team player with a people orientated approach.
  • Effective organisational and communication skills with a collaborative approach and enjoys responsibility.
  • Proactive, strategic and analytical in your approach to support client's requirements.
