We are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to join a well-established, design-led, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong and growing presence in London. The team delivers high-quality infrastructure and building-related engineering solutions on a diverse range of projects across the capital and the wider UK.
This role is ideal for a Technician who is eager to develop their Revit and CAD capability within a highly collaborative environment, working closely alongside experienced Engineers, Senior Technicians and BIM specialists. You will gain hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle - from early design and coordination through to site inspections and construction support - while contributing to technically robust, well-coordinated engineering solutions.

The Role
Working under the guidance of Senior Technicians, you will support the delivery of civil engineering designs across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing Revit and/or CAD skills in line with internal standards, guidance and training
- Producing high-quality Revit and CAD models and drawings to meet project requirements
- Working closely with Engineers and Senior Technicians to support efficient project delivery
- Delivering drawings and models in line with agreed programmes and deadlines
- Raising concerns early where deadlines or technical constraints may impact delivery
- Attending site visits to assist with surveys, inspections and monitoring construction progress
- Coordinating with external consultants and design team members to ensure effective design integration
- Reviewing drawings from other disciplines and highlighting impacts on civil engineering design
- Maintaining good drawing practices to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
- Considering health and safety aspects of design and flagging issues to Engineers and Associates
About You
You will be a motivated and detail-focused Technician with a genuine interest in developing your technical skillset within a professional engineering environment. You should demonstrate:
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit within an engineering or construction setting
- A willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of senior technical staff
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- An understanding of the importance of coordination and design quality
- A proactive approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines
