The role: As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in a wide variety of professional and project services.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct condition surveys, building inspections, and prepare detailed reports
- Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate settlements
- Undertake technical due diligence and acquisition surveys
- Provide expert advice on building regulations, health and safety, and sustainability issues
- Manage client relationships and ensure service excellence
Requirements the Building Surveyor should have:
- MRICS Chartered
- 2-5 years' post-qualification experience preferred
- Strong background in commercial property (offices, retail, industrial)
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of building pathology
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment is ideal
