I'm working exclusively with a highly regarded, award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy that is expanding its Bristol office. With decades of experience delivering technically excellent and buildable solutions across multiple sectors, my client is known for its collaborative culture, innovation, and focus on quality. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to take a leading role in shaping a growing regional team, influencing project delivery, and mentoring junior colleagues, all within a consultancy that values autonomy, technical excellence, and career development.
The role involves leading and overseeing a range of civil engineering projects, from residential schemes to complex infrastructure, ensuring quality design and delivery. In addition, you’ll play a key part in growing and mentoring the civil engineering team, working closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the Bristol office.

- Extensive UK design consultancy experience, particularly in Residential projects
- Strong client liaison skills with commercial awareness
- Proven experience with Section Agreements (S278, S38, S185, S104)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WinDes or equivalent software
- Hands-on approach with a desire to stay engaged in design and project delivery
- Experience or willingness to mentor and line-manage a growing civils team
- Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
