Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a Section Engineer to work on a major infrastructure project. This role offers a challenging scope of works, excellent exposure to complex engineering, and an opportunity to work on an exciting project.

Reporting to sub-agents / site agents, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of the works, including:

  • Managing site engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and implementing RAMS prior to works commencing.
  • Ensuring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are completed, recorded, and maintained to industry standards.
  • Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including setting out, as-built information, and quality documentation.
  • Producing and updating short-term and monthly programmes for your section of works.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Section Engineer role within civil engineering.
  • Setting Out engineering experience.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • A full UK driving licence.
